BRANDING + SIGNAGE + MENU DESIGN | Xochi, part of the H Town Restaurant Group, comes from the word Xoxhitl, meaning Goddess of the Flowers, and also to bloom or catch fire. Serving delicious and cultural experiences born out of Hugo Ortega's love for Oaxaca, the culinary capital of Mexico, Xochi is one lively spot. We hatched the idea of creating the logo around a day of the dead figure, who we named Xochi. She watches over all that happens in this buzzing downtown restaurant which opened just in time for Super Bowl LI. The colorful brand family adorns menus, coasters, to-go bags as well signage and marketing materials. Like the other H Town Restaurants, Xochi is on track to become a Houston institution. Look for pizza boxes and t-shirts to come soon. (Wyn Bomar Design's first pizza box, it just doesn't get any better!) I suggest a Mole Tasting for starters! For more info, visit www.xochihouston.com.
