BRANDING + SIGNAGE + MENU DESIGN | Caracol's menu is a Mexican Gulf Coast culinary tour, the environment mixes traditional and modern design elements. The Spanish word for snail, Caracol serves ceviches, coteles and wood-roasted oysters. Along with clients Tracy Vaught and Hugo Ortega, Wyn Bomar Design created a brand of interlocking snails floated on a blue water background. This element and other icons from the brand family also appear in the carpet. The rough lines of the graphic snails contrast nicely with the clean lines in the type, hinting at the engagement of old and the new, echoing the modern/traditional feel of the interior. Additional icons come into play on the menus and elsewhere throughout the restaurant. Wyn Bomar Design recommends the oysters! Visit www.Caracol.com for more information.
